  • What is an Escape Room?
    • You and your teammates find yourself in a room filled with clues, puzzles and riddles that you need to solve. You have 60 minutes to solve the mystery and leave the room.
  • What is the maximum number of participants for the Mayflower Escape Room?
    • Up to 7 people can participate in the game at a time.
  • What is the price for one game in the Mayflower Escape Room?
    • The standard price is € 132.- (including taxes) per group.
  • How can I book the Mayflower Escape Room?
    • You can book the Mayflower Escape Room on our website.
  • Is there a minimum age for participation in the Escape Room?
    • Minimum age for participation is 16 years. Younger participants are allowed under the supervision of an adult and only after consultation with the organization of the Mayflower Escape Room.
  • At what time should I be present?
    • We ask participants to be present 15 minutes before your scheduled start time.
  • How long does the game take?
    • You have 60 minutes to complete the game.
  • In which languages can the Escape Room be played?
    • The Mayflower Escape Room can be done in Dutch and English. You can make a choice of language when booking the Escaperoom.
  • Is there anything to eat and drink?
    • Yes, you can go to the Pieterskerkcafé, both before and afterwards. The Pieterskerkcafé is open daily from 11 am till 6 pm.
  • Can people with physical disabilities play this Escape Room?
    • Because of multiple (steep) stairs, the Mayflower Escape Room is unfortunately not accessible for people with impaired mobility.
  • How do I get from Leiden Central Station to the Mayflower Escape Room?
    • From Leiden Central Station (CS) it is about a 15-minute walk to the Pieterskerk. From Leiden CS, several bus lines stop at Breestraat. The Pieterskerk is a 2-minute walk from the bus stop (entrance Kloksteeg 16).
  • Where can I park the car?
    • The Pieterskerk is situated in the heart of the historic city of Leiden. There is a low traffic policy in the city centre. We advise you to use the free Park & Ride facility on Haagweg 6 (Stadsparkeerplan) situated on the edge of the city center. There is a free shuttle service from there that will take you to the Pieterskerk.
  • Can I cancel the game in advance?
    • Yes, you can cancel free of charge up to two business days prior to your reserved date.  After that time, you will be charged the full amount and no refund can be granted.
  • How long in advance can you book the escape room?
    • Due to the events taking place in the Pieterskerk Leiden it is possible to reserve the Mayflower Escape Room up to 60 days ahead.
  • Is advance booking mandatory?
    • Yes, reservations must be made in advance to ensure that the Mayflower Escape Room can be prepared for your experience.
  • Can there be multiple teams at the same time?
    • The Mayflower Escape Room offers space to one team per game round.
  • Is there a wardrobe for our coats?
    • Yes, there is a wardrobe. In addition, there are lockers for storage of mobile phones.
